MATERIAL
Hoodie with relaxed fit. Hood with drawstring, front kangaroo pocket. Rib at cuffs and hem.
This hoodie quality is a fantastic mix of organic cotton and Tencel. This means that the jersey is both incredibly soft and at the same time a good, robust quality. Tencel is a fantastic material that is extracted from wood fibers from sustainable and FSC-certified forestry.
BUNKERS / MIDDLES
A simple, graphic interpretation of the Coastal Road between Bunkers and Middles seen from above.
All layers are made clear: First the dunes, then rises, the main road, sand, more dunes, more sand and THEN… the sea. Raw, simple and incredibly aesthetic at the same time. If you don't come from Thy and don't surf, you might be a little unsure of what we're talking about when we write Bunkers and Middles. Bunkers is a magical place on the beach at Klitmøller, and one of Denmark's best surf spots. Middles, on the other hand, is located on the edge of the harbor in Hanstholm, and a very popular place for kite and windsurfing from all over Europe. Depending on where you live, it is often different how you perceive the coastal road. If you stand at Bunkers and drive towards Middles, you would say that the sea is on your left and the dunes on your right. If, on the other hand, you stand in Middles and drive towards Bunkers, you would say that it is the other way around.
FSC
FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is a non-profit organization and they are your guarantee that the wood you buy comes from well-managed forests and responsible sources.
If a material comes from the forest, it can be FSC certified. Before a material can be FSC certified, however, it must come from forests that protect the animals' natural habitats, maintain biodiversity, protect old trees, do not carry out deforestation, protect the rights of the natives, and ensure a fair wage and a safe working environment.
To be sure that all these requirements are complied with, FSC, if necessary, makes unannounced visits to the forests and the other stages of the process. In addition, all links in the supply chain must have a traceability system that is checked at least once a year. Read more
