This data protection statement applies to the collection and use of personal data on ELSK.COM and in connection with purchases. Here you will find information, i.a. about what personal data is collected, what it is used for and what rights you have. What personal data do we process?

When shopping on the website, you must provide the following information:

* Name
* Phone number
* Email address
* Delivery address
* Payment details
(Card information is processed directly by DIBS or PayPal)

The registration of this information is a prerequisite for the purchase to be completed. In connection with purchases and inquiries, we will also store:

* Necessary purchase history, i.a. what type of item you bought and when you bought them aht. complaints and exchanges.




Basis for processing personal data

The Personal Data Act restricts access to processing personal data by specifying what are to be considered legitimate reasons for obtaining and using personal data (“Processing Basis”). The rules on Basis of Processing mean that it is possible to process personal data when it is necessary to fulfill an agreement with the person whose personal data is being processed. Our agreement with you is our primary processing basis. Furthermore, we base parts of the processing on your consent. Consent is obtained through marketing inquiries, user surveys, campaigns, etc., which takes place, among other things. via external plugins (MailChimp).




What do we use your personal data for?

We use your personal data for the following:

* Fulfilling our sales-related obligations: This includes fulfilling our obligations to you as a customer, including delivery, relevant service, customer follow-up and answering questions, as well as fulfilling our obligations under applicable law.

* Administration of orders: Filling in connection with enquiries.

* If you contact us via customer service: Depending on what the inquiry is about and how you contact us (via telephone, form on the website or email), we will need to know who you are, which product you have purchased, your address or telephone number. We will collect the information we need to help you.

* Complaints, returns and exchanges: If you complain about an item or ask us to return or exchange, we must use your contact details to be able to register the complaint and carry out the exchange or to cancel the purchase.

* Electronic marketing: If you have explicitly consented to it, we will use the personal data we have about you to send you offers and information about our products. In this connection, we use e.g. the information we have about your previous purchases, in order to provide you with offers that we think you might be interested in. Public authorities: Your personal data may in special cases be disclosed to relevant public authorities. Such delivery will only take place if we are required to do so in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.




Use of cookies

We use so-called cookies or information capsules to improve the user experience on the website. A cookie is a text file that is stored in your browser's internal memory when you visit or interact with a web page.
You can prevent us from storing such cookies in your browser. Most modern browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera, etc.) are set to accept cookies automatically, but you can choose to change the settings yourself so that cookies are not accepted. Deletion

ELSK®ApS deletes your information in accordance with the applicable legal requirements. Information about purchases will, as a general rule, be deleted when there is no longer a need to store the information to answer customer inquiries and complaints, unless we need to use the information for other legal purposes. The Accounting Act and other legislation may in some cases require us to store certain types of information for a longer period of time.

Your rights

We appreciate your feedback. Here you can see which rights you have at any time and which you can assert by contacting us here.

* Withdraw consent: If you have given your consent to receive inquiries from us about offers for our goods, you can withdraw this consent at any time directly on the emails you receive from us.

* Ask for insight: You have the right to gain insight into which personal data we have registered about you.

* Request rectification or deletion: You can also ask us to correct incorrect information we have about you or ask us to delete your personal data. We will as far as possible accommodate a request to delete personal data, but we cannot do this if there are compelling reasons not to delete it, e.g. that we must store the information for documentation purposes (such as ongoing orders, complaints, etc.)

* Complaint to the supervisory authorities: If you disagree with the way we process your personal data, you can submit a complaint to the Danish Data Protection Authority.




Security at ELSK.com

ELSK.com is hosted on a server SSL certificate. In addition, we use additional security service from SUCURI® to prevent and monitor any attacks from hackers and unwanted bots designed to collect user information without consent.




Changes

We may make changes to this data protection statement, e.g. as a result of us making changes to the website's layout or functions. If we make significant changes, we will inform about this on the website.
