EARTH KARMA BRUSHED T-SHIRT

This style is made of 100% organic and brushed cotton from Turkey. When the cotton is brushed, it gets an extra soft surface.

Our brushed t-shirts are made by our good partner Egedeniz in Izmir, Turkey.

Egedeniz has been working with sustainable clothing production for several years and way back in 1993, they became the first factory in Turkey to make clothes with certified organic cotton. The company's history goes all the way back to the beginning of the 20th century.

If you are a number geek, the weight of the t-shirt is 175 gr/m2.... In general terms, this means that there is a little more stuff in it than the average t-shirt, which also means that it lasts a little more than many other t-shirts.

The cotton is picked max. 160 km from the factory.

We are (unfortunately, our accountant thinks!) not driven by excel sheets and budgets. We are driven by a belief that if we do everything properly, something will come back to us.

Put another way: We actually believe that the karma boomerang hits us for both good and bad.
We also believe that the earth feels the same way.
If we do something good, it must give us something good.
If we do something bad, it will probably do what is good for itself in the long run. Whether we (humans) are here or not, the earth and the cycle must find their way back. It may well be that we have to go through something that for us is bad karma - but the earth's karma will probably correct itself.

At ELSK, we try not to be saints. We try to be open about the fact that our goods also strain the earth's resources. That we can use our business to try to push things in a better direction, but also that you as a consumer yourself have a great responsibility. Both for your consumption and which companies you support.
