EARTH DAY 2020: THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY.

Many run towards the bottom🏃‍♀️
We will climb towards the top🧗‍♀️
So what do?🦹‍♂️🦹‍♀️
Covid-19...A crisis we were not prepared for.
The climate crisis... a crisis we should prepare for.

We believe we can still achieve it. Taking care of the earth.

Today is Earth Day - Finally an American tradition worth supporting.

It is the day when we stand together and demonstrate will and support to protect the earth.

Can LOVE save the earth🌎? No, but we can make a small contribution and hopefully inspire others to do the same. You know….like rings in the water…domino pieces….It has to go on here. To many. For all.

Therefore, I would like to say it again and even more clearly. Many run towards the bottom. We will climb towards the top.

So what do we do:

Over the next few months, we will step up our fight for a better and more sustainable fashion industry. We will also do even more to share both our messages and tools. So hopefully it can inspire others to go in the same direction.

This is exactly what it means:

We will create a public roadmap that will explain our plans, shortcomings and ambitions in relation to creating a company that burdens the environment as little as possible.

We will launch a platform for the sale of used ELSK clothes, our samples and our complaints with minor defects♻️.

We will start a process to become B-Corp certified.

We will expand our material and supplier information so that you get even more knowledge about the way we produce and work.

We want to talk openly about everything we still don't do well enough.

We will increase the focus on getting more recycled materials into our collection♻️.

We will increase our efforts to work with companies that, like us, are committed to giving something back to nature and burdening as little as possible.

We will create more material that can be used for inspiration and knowledge for other companies, students and interested parties. Open up more and invite those who want into the engine room.

We will increase the demands on our suppliers and ensure that they, like us, climb to the top.

Some of the above is concrete. Something is flying. It will all be collected in the roadmap that we will make publicly available to everyone. Then it becomes measurable. Then there will be something to hold us up to.

So come…let's climb to the top together.
