COLAB WITH EMIL FJORD PHOTOGRAPHY | LOVE®

ELSK has teamed up with the talented Emil Fjord to create a series of posters that showcase part of our home region Thy in the most beautiful way. About Emil:

For me, photography is an art form. An art form I can use to express myself. My photographs show the world and the people I see. My vision is to take pictures that show the honest, the authentic and the natural, as I see it through the lens.

I emphasize that there is a story or a unique character behind the photos I take. A photograph must be deep and tantalizing. Something that arouses curiosity in whoever sees it.

The three pictures capture the things I appreciate most about Thy.

The desolate and fascinating landscape between Thy and Hanstholm, where the dunes and the open terrain show the simultaneously harsh and gentle nature. It is an area that provides space and inspiration for reflection.

The sea mark is for many a symbol of home. That now you are at your own bearing mark and close to safe harbor. It provides security and is an icon for the area. At the same time, it reminds one of the history of fishing and the far too high price that some have had to pay to get bread on the table.

The picture from the pier in No. Vorupør, shows what enormous forces are hidden in the North Sea. It is a sea of contrasts, which is a source of entertainment, income and food, but at the same time something to protect against. The pier protects, but at the same time gives the sea the opportunity for a last valiant effort.
